I knew my dog was smarter than me, but...

I didn't think she would make up being from Minnesota.
Welcome to TradGang, and meet my dog, Spirit, Spirit.

By all means, go to a shoot and try as many bows as you can. One heck of a free education!

Welcome brother. Mighty fine folks to sit around the campfire with.

Welcome to the gang.If your talking about Great Plain's 3 piece TD longbow, yes I have one and they are a fantastic bow.Mines a Rio Bravo which is just differant woods.they shoot as good as anything being made today and the craftsmanship is just as good. You won't go wrong.
Quote from Howard Hill.( Whenever he taught someone to shoot) "Son make up your mind right now if you want to target shoot or hunt as theres a world of differance between the two"

My recommendation would be to shoot the recurve you have and get really good with it.
