I'm finally starting to put the finishing touches on my room (or man cave as my wife calls it).  Of course, it will have a trad archery and trad hunting theme.

If anyone has photos showing how you've done up your  own trad room, I'd really enjoy seeing them.

Also, am looking for sources for items.

Any and all info. is appreciated.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

I have been wanting to cut down one of these and make a lamp or something out of it for my house ever since I found them....

If you know where beaver work, a still-joined tree trunk that's been gnawed on is a real conversation piece.

I have no pictures, but if it were mine, I'd want:
1) a small desk set up for reloading, not too big or fancy but not junky either
2) a small table for fletching arrows, tying crappie jigs and flies, doing leather work, sharpening knives etc, sturdy and simple
3) a gun cabinet
4) a bow rack
5) a few, not many, photos or decorative things to remind me of God, family, friends, good hunts, good fishing, etc
6) a hutch on the desk or a small book case to put a few good books on outdoorsy stuff in and maybe set a picture or two on
7) a good, supportive, but comfortable chair

Something simple, tasteful, and sufficient.

I agree with Jake...awesome lodge Littlebigman!  I do have a lodge myself but on a smaller scale (10' X 20') however one criteria a lodged ought to have is some quality books on hunting both big and small game.  I also have a number of field guides as wdll as books on wildlife management.

This is a corner of my Man room. That gray thing is a blanket over the fireplace screen. The walls are paneled with weathered barn boards.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

I've got a pile of old pics I can get copies of...I'll have to lay them out.  You cover costs and I'm cool with it.  I've most of the greats.
