Treeshark question
«
on:

Looking at pics of the screw in Treesharks, it appears that the back edges if the blade sit behind the insert somewhat. How far back do they sit? It appears to be about an inch...I'm worried about clearance with my current shafts, which are only cut about an inch longer than my draw...

Use glue on heads with insert/adapters. Good luck, Scott.

They look to be between 1/2-1" back from the pics I've seen, but I was hoping someone who had some would chime in.

I was just about to order some more shafts when I looked at the Treesharks picture again...good thing I did, because I'm pretty sure my current length is not going to have enough clearance. I may end up having to go the glue route, but we'll see.

They sit back 1 inch. Also, I had to send mine back to have the gap widened to fit over the shaft. I am shooting AD Hammerhead lites and the gap was too narrow. If you order from Simmons let them know what shaft you are using and they can make sure the gap is wide enough to fit.

Just measured some for you as I was curious myself since you brought it up. Flingblade is right they are just a hair under 1 inch.

David(the man who makes them) said they come back 1" on the shaft. I wondered the same thing myself!
