Bows in classifieds..wow
« on: July 27, 2014, 08:15:00 AM »
I haven't been around much (again) due to work, but just took a look at the bows in the classifieds.
I have never seen that many top end bows for sale at such great prices.
For those in the market, there is some unbelievable stuff for sale right now!
Be sure to check it out.

Yes, there are great bows on all the sites. Can no longer use the sale site on Tradgang, but have bought 3 bows lately because something I have wanted finally came up at a price that fit my budget. Do not think it is falling interest in Trad. archery, just a reflection of the steady sinking economy and incomes.
Am going to try blocking the sale sites before the bank account vanishes. LOL Maybe get into a 12 step program, Thanks, Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

Definitely a buyers market right now.  I haven't been on the Tradgang classifieds for the last year now but bows are showing up at great prices on the other sites. I commented to a friend the other day that it seems that quality bows are selling for about $100.00 less on average than they were a couple years ago. I have added several to my racks since Christmas.

Agree, I'm in the market and having an incredibly difficult time making up my mind on which "one" to go after. It's making me dizzy. I sold two bows in two weeks, and got what I thought was a reasonable price for them compared to what they typically sell for. It was like the bow Gods knew exactly when I got some jingle in my pocket and sprinkled the ads with a plethora of tasty eye candy!
I'm like flint, I better stop watching the ads so close, I'm gonna go blind if I don't.

Yeah I have said it before and will say it again, no matter the attitudes floating around out there about TG, that we have the best selection of bows available from private sellers, bar none.  Some real aficionados around here  :D

It has been a buyers market for a while now.  Economy plain sucks.  I have gotten some incredible deals and have also given what I feel are some incredible deals.

But as it stands, the classifieds are not what it's about  :)

Prices of used bows  have really dropped.  I see quality bows selling for 50% of there new price almost as soon as they are sold.  Makes me second guess ordering a new one from a bowyer.

If I didn't have a new one coming in a couple of week I have one spotted that I'd be shooting right now.

We need to set up a bow money laundering system.  My wife gets suspicious when she sees me eying the classifieds.  I never notice a new purse, but she can smell a new bow.

Classifieds run hot and cold.  Even this sight has a few guys that come on real strong after a bow then disappear before buying.
Overall, I have found guys here to be more sincere in dealing.  I also find them more trustworthy.
