Here is mine.  I had been looking for some time to buy one, but decided just to finally make one.  Looks pretty simple but actually took me some time to design and build.  I drilled and dowelled at all the connections.  I had to free hand the middle sections (which I am terrible at) for some added design.  The rack itself measures 29" W x50" H
The spacing for the 2 3/4" shaker pegs are 5" for the recurves and 4" for the longbows.  The part I regret is not making a bit wider spacing for the transition between the two.  As you can see the recurve overlaps the long bow, but I just slide the longbow forward and does not touch.  I used 1x4 regular knotty white pine from Home Depot and a 1x6 for the head.  I used my Dremel and cut out 3 arrowheads.  Three of the pics I have was not quite finished as Home Depot did not have enough pegs on hand at the time.  The fourth is the finshed product.  I now wish that I had put some color of stain on it as it turned out too light after sanding it and just using a clear coat.  I used mushroom wood buttons stained a dark walnut to contrast and to use for decoration.  4 of which I used to attach to the wall with screws and then cover up with the buttons so it is decorative and serves a purpose.  I saw a simlar one built a while back and that is where I got the basic idea from.  I liked the idea of the shaker pegs, they work perfect.  Failry inexpensive to boot, just alot of my time.  If you are thinking of building one it is definitely do-able.  I am pretty good with my hands, but far from a woodworker.  I then used a small dowell stained for the very top of the bow rack, which I can set a strung bow up there and works great.

Is there any chance that you can do a build-a-long? For the bow rack

Unfortunately I don't think I'll build another, don't need another one.  I sure wish that I would have thought about it while I was builing it though and took some step by step pictures.  I'd be more than happy to answer any questions and help any way I could.

25 1/4" horizontally between peg centers, bottom pegs 10" above the cabinet top, 7" vertically between peg centers.  Holds 5 unstrung, or 3 strung.

Made this one for a friend last year. It's made out of scrap oak flooring.
