Ryan, I'm headed to WY on Tuesday to get set for the antelope opener. Then CO elk the last week of bow season. That should get me ready for some whitetails in Oct & Nov.

I spent the Day prepping a stand site on public ground this morning. I used some advice from this thread.
I was a bit discouraged to see a new stand pop up 40 yards from the spot I selected but hope to hunt it later in the season.

Thanks Ryan, i enjoyed that, my buddies think im crazy scouting and hanging stands in the 90 degree tick infested days that are 2-3 months from our opener, I was out this weekend and bumped a nice buck where i had a stand last year and had passed possibly this same deer..
that battery operated pole saw is a great idea
