How to Upgrade Limbs ?
« on: September 24, 2007, 10:03:00 PM »
I want to upgrade limbs on my sons' Ragim T/D recurves.  They are difficult to find.  These are 33 lb limbs and I want to get them up to 45 lb.

First question - can backing be used to upgrade draw weight?

Second - are there limb-makers out there who custom fit or who sell several sizes?  I need bases 1.5 inch wide by 1/2 inch thick and limbs for a 66 or 68 inch bow on a 23 inch riser.  I could cut and bush the bolt holes myself.

Thanks

Most likely you could buy him an entire new set-up for less than custom limbs if you wanted to stay with that model. Otherwise contact a Ragim Dealer and have them order you a set.
