Do you guy's find it easier shooting from a tree stand I know I shoot better out of a treestand, 20 feet high deer target 15 yards from base of tree I shoot really good sitting down or standing doesn't seem to matter....what about you.

I don't like the angles offerred but I shoot about the same. Still worth doing as it gets us closer and the game has less chance of bustin us as we draw.
As far as I remember I have always been standing when I shoot at deer. I like to stand in my stand for the "golden" first light and sunset hours.

I don't think it's easier for me,but I am more relaxed because I can watch the animal better and get away with adjusting for my shot easier.

Last year I had horrible luck shooting from a stand. I missed more deer than one shooting from an elevated position. I've been working at shooting up high since January this year.
Every day I shoot, I start on the ground for a few rounds. Then I get up high for a few rounds.
At this present moment, my shooting is as good from 15 feet up at 20 yards as it is on the ground at 20. I'm not a great shot by any stretch of the imagination....but I feel very confident with a 20 yard shot from an elevated position right now. Of course, when it comes to a live animal the nerve factor will inevitably come into play to an extent......

Not easier, I find it the same as long as I bend at the waist and practice good form.

About the same for me as well. I almost always shoot from a sitting position and seldom set my stand where my feet are higher than 14-15 feet.

About the same for me also I don't like to get 20 ft though 12-15 if cover allows due to the angles. I like em close! 5 yards is my favorite.

I now shoot about as good from the tree as I do from the ground. but I'm in the 10-15 off the ground club. When I first started shooting a trad bow from a tree it took some getting used too, and I lost more then an arrow or 2 figuring it out, and I still tell myself "bend at the waist dummy"

No issues for me from my stands. But I only go 10-15 feet. Actually I think I shoot and concentrate better from a treestand. Amazing how many leaves u can hit.

I don't have much of a problem from the elevated stands, but like some have already mentioned, I do not go very high, usually only 10 or so feet. I shoot sitting down.

I shoot much better from a tree stand. I like getting high depending on the tree.( about 20 ft) My depth perception is great and my sight picture is just different from a tree. I can shoot out to 35 yards. I have talked to several shooters about this; if I am on a hill shooting at a target down a grade with a background, I am more accurate. If I shoot a target on flat ground, I do not shoot as well. It is probably just psychological.
When we were young, we would spend many days shooting from an elevated platform that we built. We would shoot for hours picking leaves and golf balls to shoot at. Shooting flat presented with a greater risk of losing our arrows and we were poor.

I hunt the ground 100% of the time now but always shot better from a stand. Countless hours of seeing that sight picture and being dialed into the moment probably helped. I still have a few spots that the terrain is so steep I might as well be in a stand.

I practice a lot of elevated shooting from about 17 feet (home deck). My stands are generally about 15 feet.
I don't think about it much frankly. It seems the same.

I hunt from tree stands 95% of the time and shoot sitting more than not. Steep angled shots or off-side shots are challenging for me do to an osteoarthritic hip and compromised low back, still...I'll make it happen!
There is nothing like having the stability & flexibility of good ol' Terra firma underfoot though. Shooting on the level is how I practice the most, because of logistics. I know I can safely pull more draw weight from the ground and release it more accurately.

I'm as good as long as I aim lower on the animal. Depending on the angle, it has the effect of shortening the distance to the target.

I shoot the same except for really close shots - 5yds and in I have a tendency to sail them over the back more often. I practice from the deck and always take a few pt. blank shots to get the mental picture of how to aim for that angle. 15-25 is my pref.

If you haven't please do yourself a favor and practice from a treestand so you see what is different. It is not more difficult, but there are differences. Just know what they are and you will be happy.
BTW, as stated or hinted at by several, the lower the stand, the better the shot angles that are available, and conversely, the higher the stand, the more you need to change your aim / impact point to affect the real 3D of the critter, not just the 2D target point.
