Yep,I still fly the MA1.  1.5" cut easy to sharpen and hold up real well.  Shot a six point with one last year, will be flying some again this year.

I sharpen mine with a bastard fill, a fine diamond stone and a leather strop. The hair leaves your arm with excitement

I have some and they fly great and sharpen up easy.  I use a 6 inch single cut bastard file and then lightly pull through a Gatco carbine sharpener with 25 degree angle.  Nasty.  The teflon finish on them appears to give slightly deeper penetration in my broadhead target than some other 2 blades.  Lots of folks have had good results sharpening them with an Accusharp.  You can also buy "seconds" from ThunderValley for half price.  That would be a good way to get some to "play around with" to see how you like them.  Check out their website.

My first two deer were taken with a MAII. Both went down within sight. I will use the same one again this year. Very easy to resharpen with my Lansky.

I use the accu-sharp tool.  A few strong swipes on each side then a few swipes on ceramic sticks.  Then strop some.  Will shave hair.  5 minutes per head.

I also use the KME for an even sharper head- however, I find that it takes at least 20-30 minutes for each head and I am not sure I really gain that much as a weapon.  On the other hand- for hunting knives- KME!

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Its my favorite broad head. The ma1 1.5 inch 2 blade. Been my main head for 15 years killed lots of critters with them and love them.
Very easy to sharpen, fly great and leave great blood trails.

Yes. Everything I've ever shot through the lungs/heart with them, died.

Yep the first 3 deer I killed were with Magnus 2 blade heads. 2 with the magII and 1 with a magI.

Great heads! I don't know why I have ever used anything else    :knothead:
