I'll be moving to the Monte Vista area next month. Any trad shoots or shooters in the area?

David, take a litter of Mountain Cur pups out there with you and get them started on those cats out there and we will have some real fun next year. I looked up where your moving and I go real close to it when I go up to Crested Butte. I like that around Walsenburg.

We will miss you around here but will come and see you there.

Hope I get to see you before you move David. We'll sure miss you around here, but hopefully I'll get to come up to the high country and hunt with you. Dang, I still had more to learn from you!
Best of luck and Happy Hunting....Terry

Good for you! I've been trying to get the wife to look at jobs out there for a couple of years, but she's pretty attached to Maine.

That is a great idea Mike, I would like to chase some of those cats around the mountains, I will look into that.
I will look for some info on the Colorado Traditional shoot.
And Terry, You will have to join us next year on our elk hunt. I will be leaving here around October 13 to get things settled up there. With a little luck, maybe I can squeeze in some hunting here before I go.

Monte Vista is a nice little town. Take your coat, the San Louis valley gets purty chilly in the winter. You got the Sangre De Christos to the east and the San Juans to the west, good spot!

I had a ball trouping around the San Juans between Monte Vista and the NM line when I live out west.  Enjoy!
