New J. Holden deer call
« on: August 11, 2014, 10:28:00 PM »
Jeremy Holden was looking for some wood shafts and when I realized that he was the "deer call guy", I contacted him and set up a trade.  I had some osage that I had cut a few years ago so I sawed out some blanks and sent them to Jeremy.  Today, my new call was waiting in the mailbox.

I tuned it to a fawn bleat and it sounds really good to me.  It looks great and having it made from wood that I cut is pretty special.  I'm really looking forward to using it this fall and once the osage darkens a bit it's gonna be really sharp.  Thanks, Jeremy!     :archer:

Just go to the Sponsors Classifieds page.  He has a post on there dated July 11.  I too have one of his calls and am looking forward to giving it a try in a couple months.
