Anybody own one? How do you like it? Is the helical as much as a Bitz?

I have one, but it's a straight clamp. Works fine and was quite affordable --- I'd like to get a Bitzenburger w/ the Zenith nock upgrade though --- or maybe I'll get a Jo-Jan multi-fletcher, or maybe make my own.

I got one several years ago, and wasn't crazy about it, since the plastic piece that attaches the clamp to the magnet is very close to the clamp edges, and tends to accumulate any excess glue that runs off the quill.  It was made from some kind of plastic material that adheres to the glue, making it hard to clean the glue off. Maybe they've changed that.

What I do like about it is the ability to quickly make six-fetched arrows, which I use for flu-flus, so I use it almost exclusively for that purpose now.

The Bearpaw jig I got from Bowhunters Superstore included additional disks which allowed one to set different nock and feather orientations / numbers.

I like it very much but the clamps tend to collect glue which is hard or impossible to remove, since they are made of synthetic material. I have helical clamps and they are moderate. But I like that.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

Sold my Bitz and the clamps after getting my Bearpaw from Kustom King. I've used it for two years now and think it has just the right amount of helical.
