Not to pick sides but Terry Green had someone make a comment that really bothered him. I don't remember exactly the comment but it was something like " whats the difference between shooting a target or a live animal". I'm guessing that his post was pulled over the target shooting vs hunting thing. (I don't know)But sometimes the difference is small or the same. The pow wow is for the bowhunters and maybe the "shooters forum" should be changed to "target shooters forum". Without any strife or grouching, whats your thoughts.

I was my understanding that the thread was pulled not because of the target vs. hunting debate, but due to the statement being irresponsible and highly inaccurate.  Of course, targets do not die a slow, painful death or live their lives crippled when a poor shot is made....ANIMALS DO!!

Target vs. bowhunting had little/nothing to do with it in my interpretation.

The intention of TradGang has always been to focus on hunting. Now targets can be used as a training tool for hunting and can be discussed here in that same manner. I know that many of the things that are pulled or removed are in relation to target only shooting threads. Like 2" feathers or light arrows so on and so forth. The Shooters Form Forum is for helping people fine tune or get ideas to improve their form to make them better hunters. We all shoot targets but we are not all target shooters.
