Samick Phantom anyone?
« on: August 27, 2014, 06:41:00 PM »
Hey guys!

quick question for you all,

Anyone out there use a Samick Phantom? I'm really wanting to try to
get into traditional archery with my two brothers and bro-in-law but I'm having a hard time picking something out in my price range.
I wanted to build my own at first but I don't have enough money to buy the tools and supplies.

I also have a slightly larger draw length than average. 29-30. Would this be ok?

Is samick a good brand in general?

Thanks in advance guys! LOVE THIS SITE!

At 62" it would be fine to 29". I actually was considering this bow a couple years ago and read a lot of good reviews on it. Never shot one though so, if you can try before you buy. Samick seems to have a hit or miss concerning limbs though.

Lots of folks down here have used the Samick Sage recurve for a starter bow. I've seen nothing but good reviews of it. I can't imagine the bow you are looking at being much different.
