A New Big Foot Bow in Texas

About a week ago I got a new bow from Kirk at Big Foot Bows - it's an ILF rig with static tip recurve limbs and has to be way up near the top among the sweetest shooting bows I've ever owned.
After a few days of getting acquainted with each other I took it to my local archery club tournament this past Sunday. The thing shot like a dream. I shot an all time personal best at 225 on a 30 target course, with a number of "stretch" targets. That 225 was good for second place, right behind the winner's 226.
It not only shoots well, it looks good too. I'm not sure how he does it, but Kirk has managed to build an amazing combination of speed, smoothness and quiet into this set up. As one of the guys I was shooting with said Kirk can get pretty much everything out a limb that it can produce and transfer it to arrow flight.

Congrats Paul.....of all your ILF rigs, I think that one's my favorite for ya! Glad you were able to run home, get the well fixed, and get back to finish your round. Nice shooting, and I must say, you've made huge progress in your shooting this year.....way to go!
