Hey guys does anyone know if an 02 mamba is ff compatible.  Id like to try because the bow eats up a dacron string pretty quick.

Not sure on ff but maybe you have rough nock that is abiding the string?
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

Martin's made 1995 and newer are FF compatable, they will have black fiberglass tips.I would check the string grooves if you are eating up strings?

Take a piece of cotton and rub around the nocks. If some is sticking it's the nock.

File is too rough. Find the spot and polish it out with a very fine abrasive.
