New To Me Tall Tines Recurve
« on: September 09, 2014, 03:45:00 PM »
Below are pics of a new to me Tall Tines recurve I'll be receiving later this week. It's 62", 49#@28" and is constructed out of Bocote and Cocobolo..

I'll take and post more pics after I receive the bow.

I would have to ask Brian to get the answer.  But, I suspect that the back of the limbs has a veneer, two laminations of probably actionboo and a veneer on the belly.  The only place it can be seen is along the wedge.

I had a Tall Tines once before and made the mistake of trading it.  Old habits are hard to break!    :knothead:    :knothead:
