you really need to shoot it first if the guy is reputable then ask if you recieve the bow and you try it and don't like it can you mail it back for a refund minus his shipping and insurance costs,, if they say no I move on..
you really need to shoot whatever you buy and like it before saying yes.. with that being said make sure you know how to tell if limbs are crooked and just get a quick tutorial on buying a recurve from someone.

I've got a "shipped February 1972" HF1225 that is 60" 50#@28". Plan on taking it hunting this year. I would like to find another set of limbs for mine. Nice shooting bow but the arrow shelf is flat so you'll have to build it up.
