I mostly hunt private ground in IN but...

Big Oaks NWR/ Jefferson proving ground has lots of deer.  I am not sure on all the rules and access?

Anyone hunt the north side of Camp Atterbury?? I am going to try it some this year since close to me.

One week countdown, good luck!!    :archer2:

I have hunted Atterbury a lot.  It's tough is about all I can say.  I can point out my favorite spots if you want.  There are no secrets there so you will be sharing it with others.  You can certainly kill a deer there but you will earn it or just get lucky  :)

I hunted the draw gun hunt on the military side last year.  I won't do that again.  Way too bureaucratic for me.  Nice country though.
Take a kid hunting!
