I think I am going to join and go, Hillbilly. I am not a member, but am a member of the NABC and they are having a meeting on the same weekend, at the same time so may just have to do it.

I have never been to a P & Y convention but might try to make this one because it is only 1 1/2 hours away.

I've never been to one of the club's conventions. With it being so close, I can't pass it up.

Not going and quit, because they slapped in the face their founding father and all traditional members after the Madison, WI convention, by eliminating the 65% let off 3 months after the membership voted to keep it.  Now they put an asterisk (should have been a dollar sign) in the book if it was shot with over 65.  I take that back, they may have even eliminated that.

I call it the A&J Club - Allen and Jennings.  If you've ever gone to an A&J convention and a PBS convention you'd notice an absence of egos at the PBS.  No comparison.

Forgive me for venting, but I grew up thinking I'd never be good enough to be a member of a club like P&Y and now I don't even respect them.

How long am I going to keep this grudge going???  You should see how pissed I am about "Da Girls" going to the Super Bowl!!!  I'm a bitter, bitter man.

Clay,
How is it going man. Made anymore bows? None for me. Adding rooms in the basement is as close as I've come to any woodworking.

Yeah Jason, I just broke another BBO a couple of days ago  :(   :(  Oh well, I've still got a couple pieces of wood here.

Todd, thank you for that truthful quote directly out of the National Enquirer  :)

But Todd's not bitter.

I quit P&Y for the same reason.
So don't wait until you retire to go hunting and fishing.  Don't even wait for your annual vacation.  Go at every opportunity.  Things that appear urgent at the moment may, in the long run, turn out to be far less so.
