Which has less noise/ vibration during and after the shot, A good recurve or a good r/d longbow? Assuming both have sting silencers ect.. on them and shooting a plenty heavy arrow.

Yep, the longbow is generally much more quiet. Of course noise and vibration are both controlable to a point through good tuning.

Recurves are almost always noisier. Among other things, the string contacts/slaps the limbwhen it's shot.

Agree with above, but some static tips recurves are very and I mean very quiet. Ya can reduce the noise on both bows. Shawn
