Durango CO archery ranges?
« on: October 12, 2014, 12:11:00 PM »
My grand son is a student at Ft Lewis College and I'm trying to find a place for him to shoot that won't cost him an arm and leg.  He does not have much free time with studies and football so it makes it difficult to get out to do any stump shooting.

Any help appreciated!

National forest land all around, it's not that far.

Good lord, there are natural ranges everywhere over there.
I shot my first elk ever while staying in Durango, there are mountains and woods everywhere.
He should grab a hay bale or two and toss them in the nearest public land that he
has access to.
Great place, he should really enjoy his time there.
Caught some great little trout in those small brooks by the roads too!
