My family and I stayed at the Fisher cabin outside of Yellowstone also.  Great memories! Last saw Larry at the NALS at Hoodo this summer. Sad to see such a big strong man in that condition, but I don't ever recall Larry ever complaining. My hope is that by all of us (his friends) sharing in this grief we can somehow lessen the burden for Belinda and the family. As stated many times, he will be missed by many, including me.    Bob M.

On Saturday, October 18th, all of the family rallied around Larry with more love than the Bastard could handle. The Bastard did not get to declare victory. We now get to celebrate Larry's life. Please join us. If you would like, wear purple for Larry.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, October 24th, at 6 pm at Summer's Funeral Home, 3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID 83646

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25th, from 12-5 pm at the Basque Center, 611 W Grove St, Boise, ID 83702

Sunday, October 26th, we will have a potluck bow shoot here at the house around 3:00 pm

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to any of the following in Larry's name to:
Pancreatic Cancer Action Network - PanCan.org - to help fight Pancreatic Cancer
Backcountry Hunters and Anglers - backcountryhunters.org - to help preserve hunting and fishing on public land
Benefit4Kids - B4K.org - to grant outdoor wishes of terminally ill and life-limited children

Thanks for all your support and prayers.

Please forward this to anyone you think would like this information.
Thanks,
Tim

How blessed we have been to have had invaluable role models.

Crossing the threshold of eternity, where there is only love, is a gift beyond our imagining.

God bless his friends and family as they grieve.

Tim, thanks for the heads up. Just sent a donation to Back Country Hunters and Anglers in Larry's honor. Worthwhile cause for sure and a great way to honor Larry for what he stood for.

I met Larry about ten years ago at the PBS youth leadership hunt on his and Dick Robertson's property in MT. He was organizer and host. He had quite the sense of humor and gave each one of the kids participating a nick name. My son got 'Ernie" after Ernie from the old TV show My three Son's. We lost a great leader.

Then he was the camp cook on the PBS youth leadership hunt that my nephews were on. At on of the presentations that Guy Perkins had set up we were doing it on a beach and while the speakers were talking Larry was picking up pieces of garbage all the time while paying attention to the speakers. He would engage them as he felt necessary. At the final camp fire I presented him with the coveted clean camper award.

My sincerest condolences to the Fisher family and everyone that was close to him.

Thanks for the memories Larry.
