3 Split Finger Tab
« on: October 24, 2014, 10:24:00 AM »
Do you guys run the anti pinch thingy?

Just curious.

Being a glove shooter, I dont see the purpose? A shooting glove does not have an anti pinch device?

Is that a real problem?

I use the the BW tab. It has a single piece of leather to protect my fingers. It is actually thinner than the leather on my Amreican Leathers gloves. No, I do not like the large finger spacers like on the "Can't Pinch tab" or the Neet tab. Not a good "feel" for me, seems I lose that touch with arrow. Do not how else to explain.
I have to have something to protect my first finger. I tried to smash it in a printing press many years ago. Since then the part of finger by the nail is real senistive.

I have been using the Bateman with the finger separator. I'll never go back to a glove.

Have someone stand behind you when you shoot and see if you are putting a bend in the arrow. If you do then you should use the spacer.

I haven't been able to shoot tabs without slapping my lip; when I trim them enough to stop that, the tips of my fingers hurt.  My right hand was badly broken and never properly fixed, so it might have something to do with that, but I did like the spacer on the tabs I tried.  I tried it both ways.  The best tab I used, and the one I would go back to if I tried again, is the Cavalier that the Oly guys shoot.  You can pretty much add or subtract anything you like or don't like on that tab.
