Ive been shooting them hissing snuffers for 2 decades now and never had a deer react to the arrow till impact (ground,tree,deer.....). They will spook on my bow limb hitting the stand or overhead limb, string wacking my arm, dropping my themos and/or binos out of the tree or any other loud sharp noise. The low soft hiss of an arrow is just like the small birds speeding through the woods.........
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
