That burly curly stuff in there would make some beautiful knife handles.

Will he consider selling some for that instead of burning it????

Cheers Fellas, glad you like it.
Kentucky TJ, yeah I was surprised at how well it came up. When I wiped the oil on it just popped out, I was pleasantly surprised.
Shed hunter, its a wedge of timber. The base is about 10-12"thick at the base and tapers to about half inch at the top. Here's a pic
 

Ray, ahhh ok, I better not tell you that he burns it. I will talk to the heathen and see if I can get you some burl.

Cheers again guys, maybe I'll see a few whitetail mounts like this soon.  :thumbsup:
