Another good morning. I was trapped in the stand.

Well I picked the right spot but got the wrong deer.  I had a spike cut and follow my scent trail and then bed down in bow range.  Darn antler restrictions.  I watched him sleep, chew cud, groom, and take several short naps for 2 1/2 hours.  At one point he curled up and purchase his head down across his front legs like my dogs.
And in case you were wondering, you can drain the morning coffee and not scare them

What really made it great was he was partial piebald.

Well you could've shot him a camera or cell phone.  Thats pretty cool to watch what the do when normally you wouldn't see them.
