Wilderness Custom Arrows
« on: November 14, 2014, 10:43:00 AM »
I called Wilderness Custom Arrows three or four days ago to inquire about placing an order. Left a message requesting he return my call. Haven't heard from them. Are they still in business? Anyone use his arrows?

Yes they are still in business, but he is busy, call again. He makes some great arrows.

I was out in the shop sawing, tapering, painting and my ears started burning! Jim, I'm sorry if I dropped the ball. Been busy! But that's no excuse. Please call me at 541-968-2832 and we can talk.

Tom, thanks! The late blacktail buck season is almost here!

Thanks a bunch..called back and got a lot of advice. I will keep shooting and figure out which of my combos work best. Then I'll call David back with a progress report. We'll proceed from there. Gonna shoot the 60-65 spine with 125's and 145's. Then will try the 55-60 with the same field points and see how they fly. I don't think there is a need to try a lighter spine.

Good talking with you Jim. We'll get it whittled down to the right spine weight and make you some nice arrows for that bow. Thanks again, David

I've gotten a couple sets from David. Rest easy, you'll be getting some fine arrows.
First arrow of the first set of his, after conferring with him on spine and such… right in the spot. Works for me.
