Yep a scam I just got off the phone with him. He said he's been on the phone all morning. That sucks.

I got one of these type scams once. I strung him along ( knowing it was BS ) for a couple of replies back and forth till I e-mailed the scammer that I had been planning to come to his location for a vacation anyway and that he should meet me in person at a certain place at a certain time ( not true on my part ). HUH! He never replied again!!

Hey guys, this is not a scam. I am stuck in Michigan, and would appreciate you all sending me $2850. I will not pay you back, but I will always refer to you as a "nice guy" :D
Seriously, it's amazing that scam is still around....

I got one of those Saudi Prince emails about the 100 million he wanted me to help him slip into the US.
I knew the guy was probably in a boiler room in Nigeria so I said I wanted to help him.
I told him as a good faith gesture I would need him to have 50K in Kugerands waiting for my two "agents" from Rwanda, who would be picking up the coins.
I told him not to be alarmed at their scruffy appearance or the fact that they always carried machetes, but he would need to decide if he liked short or long sleeves if he didn't have the gold available.
Strangely, I never heard from this scammer again.

I got one of these supposedly from a friend the day before he hosted his 33rd annual barbeque for about 300 friends...he was supposedly stranded in Paris! So we passed a hat at the barbecue to "rescue" him and it was a fun way to defray a portion of his cost for throwing this shindig every year.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
