I'll be ordering as soon as my daughter gets here and helps me pick out what her husband would like. I'm just debating weight right now for me. hard to judge without a sample of material to feel.

Riverrat.....I'm asked what weight to buy very often.  I always lean toward heavier weights.  Wool is awesome,  on warmer days, just wear less underneath. An excellent weight/pattern for the Alabama woods is Morning Mist.

Yeah ordered my zipper jacket last night and didn't see the info about typing in Tradgang until it was to late.

Still looking forward to my jacket though.

Thanks Roger. I ordered ESG, plus a green wool vest, plus an Olive Drab Mackinaw with the hood attached to the shoulder piece. Oh, and a green bandanna too! That about covers all the spectrum I believe. Got a zipperd ESG for my son and son in law plus a scarf and a vest each. Christmas shopping is about at an end thank goodness!

Ordered a zippered jacket in Timber Ghost. Anyone use Hedge apple Hideaway? It looks like it would blend it great in some of the Oak timber here in the Midwest.

Just placed an order for a Timber Ghost zip up. I didn't see a comments section. I just put Trad Gang in the note to seller section. I hope that works.

Very happy with the timber ghost I bought earlier this year, just placed an order for the ESB.

My Timber ghost is extra heavy weight, and I've been wearing it comfortably  since it dropped below 65 degrees (slightly uncomfortably before that).

I picked up a olive wool purse... At least I'm sure that's what my buddies will call it!        Of course, it's really a haversack!   I've always used either a one-compartment fanny pack...which is too small and becomes a jumbled mess, or a mid sized backpack...which is inconvenient for accessing gear. And... both have noisy zippers and crinkly-when-cold fabrics.   So, I'm hoping the haversack solves these problems... It will be well with the ribbing I'm sure to receive.

I bought an ESG light/medium weight before season. It served me well on many chilly (and sometimes wet) early mornings and late evenings.

I went with the extra heavy weight this time...would have went blanket weight but I like the plaids better and I HAVE to have a zipper as I hate pulling stuff over my head.

I started to buy a size larger for an outer layer but went with the same size as my light weight (medium). There's enough room for layers under it and, if need be, I can layer over it.

I will have to say, I LOVE my light weight ESG. It has been my first experience with real wool and I'm sold on it. My only complaint is that the arms shrank about two inches after I wore it in the rain one evening.

Better jump on this special offer while it lasts guys! You won't be disappointed.

Maybe Roger will chime in. I'm sure he will pass the word along to Mrs. Asbell over the comments section/note to seller ordeal.

They are all great people from the dealings I have had with them.

Oh BTW, Roger, if you happen to see this...I really enjoyed reading your "Camo is a Concept" article in TradArchers' World that I picked up on Friday. Y'all guys should check it out if you haven't already.
