I've been looking into this too.. I've been a little surprised at the cost of quivers! Dosen't look like there is much to them to warrant the price tag around a $100..but I am a Newbie to traditional archery.
I'm looking real hard at this Big Jims quiver.

Quivers are kind of a personal choice thing, by that I mean that we all have our favorites, and while one quiver on bow "A" will perform flawlessly, on bow " B" or "C" it may not work as well.
A bow quiver will add weight, which can help to balance the bow, and reduce noise, the wrong quiver on a bow though, can have the opposite effect.
Sorry this doesn't answer your question, but hope it helps.
As to the cost, a contributing factor is most quivers are sewn by hand...
Thanks,

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Look at the thunderhorn discounted quivers with minor flaws.

I like the Great Northern strap on quiver which I can use on both recurves and longbows. Mine holds 4 arrows. I can't think of any bow this wouldn't fit.

They are TradGang sponsers.
Great quivers at a reasonable price. I use them on recurves and longbow.

i second the thunderhorn discounted boas, i just purchased one for my pse ghost and when it showed up i looked it over good and couldnt find the imperfection? that says a lot about thunderhorns standards, buy with confidence, im a utilitarian and although i love my fare share of fancy you cant beat 45 bucks for a top notch piece of kit.

I have an EFA and Big Jim's quiver and I really can't decide which I like better. They're both top notch.
