Is anyone planning on tent camping? Or is that a silly idea?

Lucas,

Me and my Buddies always camp out during the shoots either the Spring Fling or the Howard Hill Classic later in June.

Although I'm not fond of camping and much rather have the creature comforts, I put up with it a couple times a year to have the fellowship of some close friends. And I must say those are some of my fondest memories attending these shoots and spending time with like minded people.

So short answer yes plan on camping out, and you will see there are a lot who will be joining you     :wavey:
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

Thanks. I'll have my oldest son (9) with me, just wondering if I'll be able to keep him warm enough. I may go for one of the rougher cabins or just bring a boat load of fire wood with me.

Lots of tent camping.  Don't count on a cabin being available when you get there--call NOW and you might get lucky.  Lots of hotels close by also.

That time of year the weather/temps are unpredictable--probably pretty cool at night, but nothing a good sleeping bag can't handle.

Tannehill is a great place for an archery event and Terry puts on a great event. Lots of fun--I plan to be there with a lot of BCY string material and serving.

For those that are tent camping, there is a bathhouse at Farley Field in the area where the registration is and another bathroom at the area of camping by the bridge as you come into Farley Field.
