bow mounted quiver, Black Widow
«

Greetings again,
Still in the process of setting up my newly acquired (used)MAIII. The riser has no inserts to mount a quiver to, but widow has a quiver that will mount to the takedown bolts.
Is there any issue with doing this, or should I install inserts?

I've seen a few Widows with limb bolt mounted quivers. Never heard any complaints. Seems easier than sending the bow out to have it done. TonyZ

You will need the longer limb bolts.

I use a limb bolt Thunderhorn. They include the longer limb bolts if you tell them it's for a Black Widow. I've used mine for years with no issues.

I have used a limb bolt quiver for years on my habu bows. The limb bolt is actually taped so you can easily use thumb screws to attach the quiver. The quiver is fully adjustable for different riser lengths.

Get a Kanati strap on and don't worry about the limb bolts.
You won't be sorry.

Great Northern use to sell an adjustable strap on quiver made specifically for Black Widows. The wire frame was fabricated to fit on the "horns" of the forward riser. I have a couple but haven't seen them advertised for the last ten years or so. Would be worth a call to Great Northern to see if they might make one up for you. They fit them perfectly.
