I'm cured
« on: December 12, 2014, 07:28:00 PM »
I was a bowaholic .
I am cured , don't have to buy a bow all the time .
I was in a very large sporting goods store today and I looked in the archery shop at the trad bows and I didn't have to buy a bow . I was so impressed with my self control that I felt that I earned a special gift to myself . So I decided the special gift should be a Bear Super Grizzly . I don't have a 58" bow and it seemed appropriate .   :knothead:

Were all proud of you. Perhaps the two step programs worked for you... no I do not need a new bow, just say no! Then reward yourself....

Sounds reasonable to me!

Nothing works like positive reinforcement!
Very wise of you.

On a more serious note , I was trying the bow out in the range and there were a couple of guys trying out new compounds . They stopped shooting to watch me shoot and one of them asked me ," how do you do that ?"
I said you just look where you want the arrow to go and put it there .
They said that's amazing , and my wife laughed and told them he does that all the time . I told them that my wife out shoots me and they said " really " .
Yes she does and she does it with witnesses .
