Great video and info! I find myself getting wrapped up hunting where the deer should be instead of where they are. Watching your video has renewed my interest to give it another try before season ends. Merry Christmas to you everyone on here.

Good job, enjoyed the post, short and to the point. How high were you cuz it looked like they could pick you off? I used to get picked off a lot, probably cuz I moved too much in my stand, I now really pick only fir or big trees that hide my outline.

That crazy those deer came out that early ESP after gun season. I am in a similar boat as you as far as hunting public land exclusively. I know for me that would have been tough deciding to set up in that open of an area. ESP after gun season. I would have thought the sign was all made at night. Snow is an amazing thing ESP for scouting.

That was a neat little tangle that deer died in. I have had that happen to me a few times.
