what size arrow are you useing

I don't foot my FMJ they are already a carbon arrow covered with aluminum.I have used a 2018 to foot an Axis/MFX 400.

I use 1916 on regular axis which fits perfect. I would say footing an FMJ is a great idea, they do have a tendency peel back/mushroom on hard impacts
