Question concerning bitzenburger fletch jig
« on: December 25, 2014, 12:22:00 PM »
I recieved a bitenburger fletching jig model x-1020, upon looking at it I see that it is the model to fletch cross bow bolts. My question is can i fletch regular arrows with the jig or will I need to get a different model. Thanks

From the description and picture on the Bitzenberger website, it has a different indexer and clamp from the regular Bitz.  The base looks the same, but I'm not sure. If possible, you should exchange it.  The price is a few bucks higher than the regular fletcher, so you should either get a few bucks back or break even on the deal, other than shipping.

Before you exchange it, you need to decide if you want a right or left wing clamp.  I would probably stay away from the straight clamp.
