FBB, congrats on your new chair. I had stated in the other thread that the single padded strap which comes with the chair will get the job done. I also carried it over my head on the opposite shoulder and it carried well, but made my neck hurt after a mile or so. The molle frame allows both hands to be free and makes carrying the chair so easy and comfortable.
If you decide to extend the forward leg of the chair a notch or two in order for a reclined position, the chair will on occasion tend to tip backwards, depending on the terrain. The molle frame's weight will make this more evident, but can be fixed by adjusting all legs to the same height, or not extending the forward leg more than one notch further than the other two legs.
Play around with it and you'll solve any problems.
I was using my chair the other evening and when I first sat in it, the left side felt a tad bit low. No problem, I just extend the left side leg one notch and the chair became perfectly level for sitting.
View the utube video to see how the shoulder pads and hip belt are attached to the molle frame.
Attach the top of the frame to the seat first, but don't pull the zip ties too tight to start with. Once the top ties are attached, move to the two bottom ones. Attach one on each side loosely to start with. Then pull each tie a little at a time until tight and make sure to maintain equal space on both sides between the frame and the edge of the chair. Once the bottom is tight move back to the top and push the frame corners toward the chair as you pull the ties tight. Once tight, the chair will not move on the frame. Good luck!
