Doug,
You picked a really bad year here in AZ. Heard on the radio that Jan. has been the coldest in 25 years. AZ is a very diverse state....and somewhat unpredictable. Hope you come back again.!!

Welcome back Doug,
You visited some of my favorite country on this earth. A wet day in Southern Arizona demands spot and stalk, heck in that country I can't help but head out to see what is over the next hill. Saddles can make great ambush spots during the rut.
Just as well you didn't make the GC and those roads can be quite thrilling in the winter. Not sure the road to Jacob Lake is open in the winter?
See ya in Butte in a couple of weeks.
The seed is planted, you will go back.
