I've got quite a bit of experience with the AD Trads and Trad Lites.  I'm thinking about trying some of the Momentum Shafts.

Anyone used both?  Care to share your experiences?

Thanks

I have asked the same thing on here. I usually just get a lot of angry answers about the cost but nothing about how the shafts compare the the AD.
I use the AD heavy black. They are a great design and really tough. The occasional spine and straightness variation is the only reason I would want to try others. Also the Grizzly seems to be about 1/4 longer. I could use that 1/4".

Tedd,

I did some research before I posted and saw that.

Surely someone out there has used both???

You would think! I mean people spend outrageous $ for custom bows that give them 2-3 fps. (I've done it) I'm sure someone has purchased Grizzly Stick Momentum shafts. They seem perfect for trad  bows.
A good set of woodies cost you more in the long run considering the carbons are pretty much unbreakable.
I'd like to know who really manufactures the Grizzly Stick Momentum. It almost seems like they could be made by AD? I got my last AD directly from the manufacturer. It cost more than a dealer but I ordered an extra 1/4" length.

ADs are better. Grizzly stick.... eh. Mostly tuning issues.

I have tried them both and have to say tuning a AD arrows is far easier then the Momentum shafts.
You will hear a lot about cost here that's a no brainer they are expensive.

The AD and Grizzly arrows and there tapered design I think is great and really helps arrow flight with the way the Ad are build you get the weight forward and Made in USA as well.

I found both to be super tuff and when I did get the Momentum U-force to fly good the AD and U-force performed the same.

At the end of my playing with these arrows. I did a rock test which  the video is posted up here some where here on TRAD GANG. The only arrow I did not get on video was the U-Force. I did play with it on a later date and when it hit a hard object on the side it was like glass. The AD seemed to always keep coming back for more.

I will also add if you want to try something new Easton Iniextions have become my new all time favorite arrow. BEST OF THE BEST IMO!!
And I found new adapters so you don need the deep six or 6/40 thread. Just saying something new out there that I think most trad guys will love if they just give them a try.

I have problems with the short nock throat on the momentums.

Just the way I release I guess.  Ended up dry firing a bow because the nock was to shallow.
