I'm stabilizing wood now and could do it for you. Different woods respond better to the process than others. I'm curious about how the glue lines in wood will affect the absorbtion of the resin. I'll try a piece tomorrow and then cut into the center of it after it cures to see how well the penetration is. If it works out well, you could either ship me the riser blank to stabilize or I could use some of my brown actionwood to cut to his pattern and then stabilize it for you.

Charlie,

I have a pecan tree we can cut down for fun, would that help at all?  :)
