Hey, that looks like a '70 or '71. My first brand new bow was a '71 KH, and love those things.

Very cool: love early 70's Bears. Guess because growing up that's what I cut my teeth on

What yr is your khunter? That's a really high pistol grip to be a 70's, but the riser looks to have the laminated stripe like the early 70's had.

If serial starts with an "8", then a 1968, BUT if serial starts with "K", then an early 70's. I agree that it does have the high pistol like the '67-69 models, but the laminated stripe is a mystery.

Are you guys talking about the stripe on the side of the limb? I think that is just something weird from the picture.

It looks like a laminated stripe going vertically through the riser....apparently it's just how the bow is sitting if it's a 68. I had a 69 khunter, they're great bows.

Mike,
Nice photos, those look like some Union Co. woods?
Good Hunting,

Craig,
You got it right, union county woods, up the white deer pike. Have you gotten out in the late season yet? I'm going to post some more pics of the area later on.

Mike,
Hopefully tomorrow. Vacation starts next week, hunting then for sure.
I have some buddies that use to hunt the Pike all the time, down across from the Water Company cabin. Good deer woods.
Good Hunting,
Craig

Craig, best of luck to you when you get out in the second season. My uncles cabin is up the pike just a bit further. We have the cabin right below the ACF cabin. It has been a goal of mine to get a deer up the pike for some time now. I can't wait to see some pictures of your hunts. They are really enjoyable.
