What About a Broadhead Swap??

Hey all,

For those people that are wanting to switch to a different broadhead or are picking a new one, you pretty much have to shell out the price for the whole pack unless you have a buddy that has the ones you are wanting to try.  When you get them if you don't like the way they fly or you just don't like them in general, there isn't much you can do about it but sell them as used.

So why not start a Broadhead swap thread where people can post what they are looking for and what they have for trade or what they have and are willing to let others try out.  Doing this would let people try out a particular broadhead before you buy.  You would know exactly what you wanted when you went to get your new broadheads for the season.

Any thoughts on it?

Sounds cool to me, I would only suggest that there be separate categories for screw in and glue on. As a realtive newcomer, there are many I would like to try. Im in.

Im game.   I have several glue ons laying around I would like to trade for another style glue on broadhead.

I have some(6) 125gr Magnus(screw-in) that I would like to trade for some heavier screw-in heads. I am not particular but like Phantom 220's, Simmons Interceptors, Zwickey, etc.

I'm in. I have a couple of Simmons glue-on's, 160gr, I think, plus some Simmons screw-in's, maybe 125gr, and 2 Steelforce screw-in 150gr. I'd like to try Grizzly's, Ace's, or similar 125-190gr glue-ons.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this is a good idea.  Hopefully we can get lots more to jump in here and get it where all kinds of broadheads are available to try from the many members.

I would say that the easiest way to get started is for everyone wanting to participate to just list what you are willing to let someone try out, trade or sell and then list what you would like to try.  If we get enough maybe we can get it made into a STICKY!!

I have 6 145 grain Bear Super Razorheads SS with bleeders. A couple of glue ons...not sure of weight one is a two blade with bleeders, the other is a bodkin three blade. I also have some used 125 grain stingers(2 blade). I can post pics of any of the above. Sorry about the lack of info on the glue ons...they were my Dad's from years ago.
Being I shoot 45#, any two blade would be cool to try...

darn

i doubt anyone would wanna swap 4  modifeied muzzy 100g 3 blades and a 100g judo for any good used broadhead over 125g, like 3 stingers, or 4 solid magnus heads, or 4 ribtecs...............or .....idk show me anything cut on contact

This sounds like real TradGang fun.  I have 145 Stos, 150 Griz ElGrande, Delta 4-blades, Ace 160 Standards and a maybe a couple Ace 165 Express.  Most of my Express are currently mounted on this year's huntin' arrows.

Great idea. I've got some 100 gr Grizzlies w/ 75 gr steel inserts making them 175 gr total.

I have some brand new 140g Journeyman glue-on heads (even have 2 packs of six in orginal packaging).  These are really neat heads that are no longer in production.

I'd be really interested in swapping for some Simmons glue-on TreeSharks or some 190 Gizzly El Grandes...

I think people are missing the intended point of this - if you're wanting to swap, then there's already a place in the classifieds... However, I think it's a great idea for people that just want to try a new kind of broadhead, to have an offical TRADGANG Broadhead Bank. We could all send in a broadhead or two, and they would then become the property of TRADGANG, to be loaned out to intrested parties. Of course that would require a responsible overseer, and possibly the hassle of a new category on the forums to track the loans. I atleast think it would be neat....

hey i am interested. i have a couple of two blade heads that i don't what brand they are but they are around 125 gr and some bear two blade 110 gr heads i woould trade. i am wanting to try some wensell woodsman or some snuffers as well a couple of landsharks in the 125 and 140 to 150 gr heads
