As a fellow trad greenie I can say you've come to the right place. The folks here have helped me tremendously in choosing my rig and the setup and tuning process.  I'm not qualified to give too much advice but I will say this; coming from compounds like you, you have to just accept that certain things that get  ingrained in compound shooters as "important" mean very little when it comes to trad bows.  It's hard to look the draw weights and speeds and just accept that heavy arrows at slothlike speeds (compared to wheel and cam bows) shot from 50 pound bows will suffice, but I've been taught that they do! Buy a comfortable bow and shoot the daylights out of it!
