Spine charts and point weight

When using a spine chart for aluminum arrows, does the point weight on the chart include the weight of the insert? So if I want to use a 125 grain point with a standard 23 grain insert, should I assume a 148 grain point or 125 point on the chart? Thanks for your help!

I would guess that it does not include the standard insert with tbe point weight listed. If it says 125, that is the standard insert with a 125 grain point screwed in. Back in the day we didn't have choices of heavier inserts.

I use the 3rivers chart. It has a space to add the insert weight. It also asks for nock weight.
