I was looking at the 185's the other day and noticed that they are the same thickness as the 235's but are a little bit shorter. Would the shorter length make them stronger that the 235's?

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about trying to go a little heavier 20 grains or so. Now that the season is over I will play with different weights and see what happens.

The pictured broadhead is still in good shape. The tip is a little bent but I think I can fix it and get it ready for some pig hunting.

Not to take anything away from the Grizzly, but I think EFOC has more to do with it than the broadhead.  I've seen old 4 bladed Bear Razorheads (backed with 100 grain steel adapters) inflict damage so severe that you would have thought the deer was shot with a rifle.

Looks like the damage you'd expect to see large caliber rifle produce. Sweet! Glad to see you're still a killin' machine. You and TJ should hunt together sometime. ...on second thought, no. ...that's a bad idea.   :nono:   There wouldn't be any deer left for the rest of us!

NO worries, Gilbert! I stole your pictures from your post. If you do happen to hit big bones like that again. Give me a holler. I have been collecting them.I plan to put them on a display board to take to shows. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Imagine how many words a busted leg bone like that one could save me.   :D
