I shoot everyday the weather allows.....so from March to December that's a fair amount. In the winter if it 20 degrees or better and not windy I'll go out for 1/2 an hour or so. But the thing is now is that I have dropped in poundage to around 45 pound give or take.........makes it much easier to do it a lot.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Felix, I also suffer from too many bows. I shoot everyday, outside in the summer and 15 yards in my basement in the winter. Might shoot for hours on somedays or just a couple of arrows on others. It's my way of relieving stress after a long day at work, nothing relaxes me more than shooting. Years ago I shot 60@30, now that I'm a little older I'm in the 51@30 range. I always shoot my hunting weight bows. I have a few lightweights that I just can't shoot as accurately. I'm much more steady and get a cleaner release with a heavier bow. The weight I'm shooting now is by no means heavy for alot of people but it's a comfortable weight for me.

Felix I wish I had that much time on my hands! I try and shoot 3-4 times a week. I work nights and watch my 15 month old during the day. She's good for some short naps and that's when I shoot during the day. Nights off I'll spend hrs in my garage shooting a few arrows then tinkering then shoot a few and so on.
I'd rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6

Yah, I'm a junkie too, very few days in a year that I don't put a bow in my hands.

Sounds like a good problem to me. If it does become too bothersome let me know. I'll give a few a new home. Enjoy and get out and shoot!
