This will be my first year going traditional for long beards. I was wanting to know how many of y'all hunt turkeys with Simmons tree sharks and if you have had any arrow flight problems. Also is 50# bow heavy enough to shoot a 2" wide blade for turkey's

50# is more than enough for turkeys
no arrow flight problems with a properly tuned set up
good luck have at it

I don't know what this old bow actually scales out at but it's real low efficiency, I'm sure your bow is pumping a lot more energy, you will be fine if your arrow is tuned!

Tree Sharks and Snuffers are what I most often recommend for Turkey. If your bow is tuned you will be surprised at how well the big Tree Shark flies. Your bow is plenty.

Thanks for the input I'm going to try out the tree shark. that wide blade seems like it would be the way to go.

Yeah I killed my first deer with a 45@28,and the arrow flight was great. I don't think you will have any problem with a good tuned arrow out of a 50 pound bow.
