Home made fletching jig

Who uses a home made fletching jig and how did you make it. Thanks.

Kevin, a helical clamp would be very difficult to make by hand so you are pretty limited to a straight clamp. You can buy those so cheap it wouldn't pay you to try to make one. But there have been people who have made them. To me they all look cumbersome.

There was a guy that posted a clamp made of a set of wooden clothespin.

If you used fletching tape you might be able to fashion one.  The tape would allow you one shot with clothespin
