I took Bisch's advise on the Saunders Pak-Tab a few years back and have not looked back. They don't wear out(other than the inner wool layer) and have a unique slippery suppleness, well at least they use to. I get a really crisp release with this tab and will be hunting out "New Old Stock" I guess...
Thanks for the heads up!

I started with a Saunders Fab-Tab...dark brown rubber with light brown rubber with a lining of wool in middle and a finger spacer back in late 80s...was great.
Now use a Bateman styled with finger spacer...
Great tabs both...

I have two saunders split tabs, and a three under on the way, all within the last. 2 months. They are outstanding , and my favorite tabs made.
They may not be what people were use to from old stock but they still cannot be beat.

I called Saunders and talked to a nice lady, who said she had been there "forever".
I asked if there had been a change in the material that would make the brown outer part of the tab stiffer. She said no, at least not on purpose.
She seemed to be very interested in any problem with the product. I forgot to get her name, but you ought to call 'em Bisch.
I sent an email 2 days ago, but never got a response. But then again, it wasn't in my sent file, so who knows?

Try the Neet ribbed tab. You won't want Saunders any more. If the finger separator bothers you, just get rid of it.
